Here's the latest issue of a nice zine we can only recommend you : The New Scheme. Please read their announcement...

"Issue #18 and the first-ever digital mixtape are both posted now. You can access the mix tape, or download the new issue by using the links (...). The issue features Paint It Black, This Will Destroy You, Antlers, Kidcrash, Young Livers and a feature on cassette labels.

The digital mixtape has one free song each from all the bands featured in the issue, as well as seven other songs that are in the reviews section of issue #18. All 12 songs were hand-picked by us and are worth checking out, I'm sure you'll find something of interest to you. We will be doing one of these with each issue from now on."

The Evpatoria Report on Get A Life! Records

We are stoked to announce that the family is growing once again. Swiss band THE EVPATORIA REPORT are going to release their second album "Maar" on Get A Life! Records.

After the successful release in 2005 of their first album "Golevka" (on Shayo Records), the band recorded in 2007 their sophomore effort with Serge Morattel. It includes four epic tunes in more than an hour of music. You can already listen to an extract of "Eighteen Robins Road" on our myspace profile.

No release date yet, but you can expect it to hit the shelves in the coming months. Pre-orders will start soon as well.

Our first release for 2008 will be EQUUS' first full length. A new band from Geneva including members of Swoan, Impure Wilhelmina, and a few others... It's one song (divided in three tracks) of more than an hour long of great instrumental progressive post rock or whatever you want to call it...

MAISON DE POUPEE (= dollhouse) was conceived by Emmanuelle Antille and Jean-Luc Manz especially for the show "Art en Plein Air" in Môtiers, Switzerland. They built a human sized dollhouse located close to the village of Môtiers, in the Val de Travers (home of Absinthe), and every saturday (or sunday) you'll have the chance to watch a band play in the living room, how cool is that ? It starts June 23rd and ends September 23rd.

The bands playing are : Ventura, Yog, Sigurd, Robert Roccobelly, Kunst, Gino (Viking Music), Velma, Honey For Petzi, Larytta, Bandini, Toboggan et What's Wrong With Us? ...the shows begin at 16h00.

La Baleine : release schedule

Some good news for our french neighbors! Our releases should become easier to find in their country, from now on La Baleine is going to take care of our distribution over there. The first release available is VENTURA’s first album "pa capona" (release date : 09/05/2007) followed by VENTURA/CORTEZ split 10’’ and VENTURA/DISCO DOOM split 10’’. the ZATOKREV "bury the ashes" 2XLP is probably going to be available late May, early June if there are no problem during the production.

And for BERSERK FOR TEA TIME’s "ink …and paper", it will be released in September (05/09/2007), meanwhile you can get it through our mailorder or from Saiko Records for our swiss friends.

Like you maybe already know, Zatokrev will go on tour in April. Now someone is organising a contest to find a band supporting My Dying Bride the 22th of april in Paris and Zatokrev is one of them.
